Bright yellow color and words of caution alert other drivers to give your truck plenty of space. Wide, polymer mud flaps protect your vehicle, towed gear, and other cars on the road from rocks and debris, and they are able to cover many dually tires.

Specs:
These truck or trailer mud flaps are 3/16" thick and constructed of polymer, or hard plastic, which is more rigid than rubber and won't sail in the wind. The durable construction can withstand subfreezing temperatures, so these flaps won't get brittle when the rain turns to snow and ice. And despite being more stiff than rubber, these flaps still have enough give to bend rather than break if they hit something on the road.
If you're simply replacing your mud flaps and you already have mounting brackets in place, just line up the pre-drilled holes on these flaps with your mounting plate and reuse your existing hardware. If the holes don't quite line up, you can easily drill new ones.
If you're installing mud flaps for the first time, you'll need to purchase mounting plates (sold separately) and weld them onto your truck or trailer to create attachment points for the flaps. To ensure the most secure attachment, add on bolt hole reinforcement plates (337MFW2375) to keep the flaps from tearing away from the mounts.

Today we'll be taking a look at the Buyers Products Mud Flaps. These are going to have a highly visible yellow color, with that Caution Wide Turns warning to other drivers. That's to let them know that our vehicle is going to need to take a wider turn, so they can move accordingly. These are made of a durable polymer construction, so it's going to help resist any kinds of impacts from road debris, rocks, gravel, other things like that, and also keep any mud to a minimum, getting slung up on our vehicle, as well. We'll get two mud flaps, both with that caution sign, so we have one for either side of our vehicle. They both have the same dimensions, so let's take some measurements now. About 36" long by about 24" wide. We'll have four mounting holes up at the top, to get those connected.
The distance between those, center to center, is 7". So, that's how much space we'll have between there. Our mounting holes are about 3/4" long by about 1/2" wide. Each flap is about 3/16" thick.Since these are so long, I would suggest getting an anti-sway bracket, just to help give a little bit of structure to make sure that these hang down straight, and they don't catch the wind and sway up. Those are available here at etrailer.com.
They are sold separately. You can also get a mounting plate, which would help to give you a good place to mount this up to, if you don't already have one on your vehicle. Those are also sold separately, and you can find a lot of options out there. They are fairly stiff, given their length, but I still would suggest getting that anti-sail bracket, since it is so long. They are made in the U.S.A.That's going to do it for our look at the Buyers Products Mud Flaps.
